[PREMIERE] 18 screenings of "Efterklang: The Makedonium Band" at CPH:DOX Film Festival

The Makedonium Band is one of the most exhilarating and rewarding projects we’ve ever taken part in and we are so thankful that the project has been captured so vibrantly and passionately in the new documentary “Efterklang: The Makedonium Band” by director Andreas Johnsen.

Starting March 13th there will be a total of 5 CPH:DOX screenings in Copenhagen and another 13 DOX:DANMARK screenings around Denmark. Find a list of all screeenings here and below.

The documentary will have its official world premiere at EMPIRE BIO on March 18th and on March 23rd we are bringing all the amazing Macedonian musicians to DR Koncerthuset in Copenhagen for 2 very special live performances of the project (few tickets left for the afternoon event). We’ll be almost 30 musicians on stage. We want to thank MKC SKOPJE for helping us make this possible.

We look forward to present the film at CPH:DOX and at future festivals and screenings around the world and we want to thank everyone who’s a part of this project and film.

Efterklang: The Makedonium Band

With little to no plan, the Danish band Efterklang arrives in North Macedonia to create a spectacular performance in collaboration with local musicians in front of the Makedonium freedom monument in just one week. The documentary 'Efterklang: The Makedonium Band', directed by Andreas Johnsen, is an adventurous, warm reminder of the unifying power and boundary-breaking nature of music.
