DRAGONFLY – new single/video out today + NORTH AMERICAN Tour announced 🎉

‘Dragonfly’ is released today and is now available on all platforms. It’s the second single from our upcoming album Windflowers which is released October 8th on City Slang. You can pre-order the album here.

With the release today we have also added 9 concerts in North America to our Windflowers tour. The excellent Mabe Fratti will support all the concerts. Tickets for these go on sale on Friday 9am local time. Buy tickets (also for all our European concerts) here.

The music video for ‘Dragonfly’ is made by Søren Lynggaard Andersen and it features the three of us alongside our live-band members Indrė Jurgelevičiūtė, Bert Cools, Øyunn and Christian Balvig who all have contributed significantly to the making of our new album. We had a lot of fun filming this during Efterklangs Sommertræf in June.

’Dragonfly’ explores the ephemeral nature of love. Channeling the album's motifs of hope and change, it celebrates the idea of love being constantly up in the air, unable to be caught. The dragonfly is a metaphor for love as a monumental thing that is difficult to hold in one place, how it cruises around and you never quite know where it is until it lands right in front of you. The song features Karen Beldring and Indrė Jurgelevičiūtė on vocals and you can also hear Indre playing the Lithuanian folk instrument kankles on this track.
