Coming back to PEOPLE

People Festival is coming back to Berlin, and we'll be there - as Efterklang and as Liima!

Tickets are still available here. It's a festival unlike any other we know of, and we can't recommend it enough. It's a week-long residency for 200 artists, culminating in a two-day festival at the Funkhaus (the former radio house of East Germany's state radio) on October 10–11, 2026.

We took part in the 2nd edition of People Festival back in 2018, and it was life-changing.

As Liima, we wrote new songs and performed them live with Mariam Wallentin, Eirik of Kings of Convenience, Sinkane, Gaspar Claus, Kobi Arditi, and Jeremy Black. Vincent Moon captured it on film.
As Efterklang, we performed with Zach of Beirut, The Havels, and Bert and Indre of Merope and many others. That performance made us realise we wanted to make Efterklang albums again.
Individually, we performed with many other artists - Rasmus even hosted a bingo game with Macaulay Culkin!
We met Joel of sir Was at the festival, and he and Casper later wrote Lyset together.
Inspired by People Festival, we created Efterklangs Sommertræf, which returns next year for its 6th edition!
