Danish Tour with South Denmark Girls Choir – March 2023 🗣🎵
We love working with South Denmark Girls Choir (Sønderjysk Pigekor) and today we are happy to announce our third Danish tour together! Come March 2023 we will be visiting three beautiful churches in Sønderborg, Aarhus and Copenhagen and as usual the great Christian Balvig will join on piano.

We have been working with the choir for more than 10 years and in the last 2 on a much more frequent basis. The choir is based in Sønderborg in Sønderjylland (the southern part of Denmark) where all three of us grew up and we feel so lucky to be able to work with them in this continuous way.
The concerts feature a lot of Efterklang songs as well as classical songs from the choirs repertoire and this year the concerts also feature songs written by members of the choir! This has been an ongoing underlying ambition in the project and together with choir leader Mette Rasmussen we hope to inspire and continuously support the choir members in becoming creating artists themselves.
