Lyset - new EP out now digitally, as socks and on cassette!
We are happy to release a new 4-track EP! As of this morning Lyset is available digitally on all platforms as well as on cassette tape and as a limited socks edition with download code exclusively from our webshop.
Lyset was recorded in Copenhagen on 16th September 2019 and its title track (meaning ‘The Light’) is a new song co-written with Swedish artist sir Was. The rest of the EP consists of reworked tracks from our new album Altid Sammen which we released earlier this year.
The new EP is recorded with our live band members Simon Toldam (piano) and Øyunn (drums, vocals) and it features the South Denmark Girls Choir / Sønderjysk Pigekor (70-strong choir) who are based in Sønderborg (where we grew up). South Denmark Girls Choir are also featured on our 2012 album Piramida and they were on stage with us for The Last Concert and we look forward to continue this collaboration with them and their leader Mette Rasmussen.

Lyset is out today on 4AD/Rumraket. Thanks to Hvass&Hannibal for the artwork. The cassette and socks will be sold exclusively via Efterklang’s webshop. We recently finished our 2019 tour in Mexico and we now look forward to our upcoming European and North American tour for Altid Sammen in Jan, Feb, March 2020. All 30 dates can be found below.
