First of all there is a new Efterklang interview up on The Milk Factory. Yep thats right! The Milk Factory has finally returned!

Then next a couple of Rumraket tips… Tonight Slaraffenland stars their US tour. Their longest so far! Have a look at the impressive tour right here at their myspace site. They also blog about the whole thing here - only in Danish though…

Yesterday Canon Blue´s Colonies album was released on CD in Scandinavia & Benelux. You can get it right here at Dotshop.se. The album is getting raving reviews, especially in UK these days (where it will be released October 8th). This Friday he will also embark on a American tour, which we have decided to call The House and Garden Tour as it started out as that. Lots of venues are involved now. Just a quick announcement! Today is a special day! Not only is it Niklas´ birthday it is also the day Colonies the debut album of Daniel James aka Canon Blue is released in digital form.

ArtRebels is a new art movement/collective in Copenhagen who works in several fields and one of them is music!

June 28 they release a double compilation disc which includes three songs related to Efterklang. You will find our own Himmelbjerget on the release and also a track by Slaraffenland and Taxi Taxi! who both are signed to our record label Rumraket.

All revenue from this release will be used for helping young people who wants to do creative projects of any sorts in Copenhagen.

Our good friend Olafur aka Stafrænn Hákon has just released a new album! For the first time he has incorporated vocals, this is a nice new touch to his already brilliant moods, delay guitar walls and touching music.

On the song P-Rofi Mads and Casper from Efterklang are featured. They have helped with some programming and they play various instruments and Casper sings as well…

Gummi is out on Resonant - in Scandinavia it is distributed by 12 Tónar.

The money will be forwarded to Nepenthes - a trustworthy Danish Organization who since 1989 has bought up land to secure and preserve untouched rainforest.

We are very happy that we are able to donate 428£ and we would like to thank everyone who made a bid and to those who won the auctions. We hope you will be happy for those lettered extra limited vinyl editions of Under Giant Trees. According to Nepenthes the 428£ is enough to buy about 13.326,71 m2 of untouched rainforest - that is actually quite a lot!
